Ms. Mohanna is an Associate Attorney with the law firm Beyer, Pongratz & Rosen. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Relations, and minor in Political Science from the University of California, Davis in 2010. After graduating from college Ms. Mohanna worked in Governor Jerry Brown’s office where she assisted with the appointment process of qualified individuals to State and Federal boards, commissions and committees during the Governor’s first term in office.
Ms. Mohanna attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA where her legal studies focused on Land Use/ Real Property Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. During law school, Ms. Mohanna was involved with the McGeorge Middle Eastern Student Association, Phi Alpha Delta, and McGeorge Woman’s Caucus where she served as her class representative. While pursuing her Juris Doctorate, she served as a Judicial Extern to Honorable Judge Thad Blizzard at the Superior Court of Sacramento County and participated in a variety of clinical programs providing pro-bono legal assistance to low-income clients with their immigration, housing, and family law matters.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Mohanna obtained her DRPA Mediation Certification through the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She worked under the supervision of in-house counsel for a Commercial Real Estate Holding company where she handled complex property transactions, negotiated settlement agreements surrounding business contracts and assisted with litigation tasks. Her current areas of practice include property, criminal and family law.
Ms. Mohanna is a firm believer in the power of law to advance social justice. Her professional associations and memberships include the California State Bar, American Bar Association, Sacramento County Bar Association- Real Property Law Section, American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Iranian American Bar Association. Ms. Mohanna enjoys traveling, organizing fundraisers for political and humanitarian causes, and strives to serve her community by participating in pro bono legal services. She is fluent in Farsi.
